Obtaining New Sieve Beds
- If your device has a low O2 alarm, call customer service at 1-800-272-7285.
- Provide your device’s serial number.
- Precision Medical will send you a new sieve bed.
Replacing Sieve Beds
- Take the battery out.
- Flip the unit upside down.
- Use a Phillips head screwdriver to take out the 5 screws holding the bottom plate on the concentrator and place screws to the side.
- Take the bottom plate off of the concentrator.
- Grab the small pull-string on the old sieve bed assembly and pull until the sieve beds pop out and place old sieve bed assembly to the side.
- Take new sieve bed assembly and remove 4 plugs.
*Depending on the packaging you received some may not have plugs. - Insert new sieve bed assembly into the concentrator in the same orientation as the old sieve bed assembly and press down on the sieve bed assembly to ensure it is properly engaged in the concentrator.
- Place the bottom cover back on the unit and secure the plate back using a screwdriver and place battery back in concentrator.
Registering New Sieve Beds
- Press and hold mute button until navigation screen pops up.
- Press 1 to cycle through menu until screen reads “Sieve Beds.”
- Press 3 once to enter sieve bed menu, press 3 again to register new sieve bed.
- Press mute button to exit menu.
Autopulse Mode and Checking O2
- Press and hold mute button. While continuing to hold mute button, press OFF button to initiate autopulse mode
- Press setting 2 to run unit in autopulse setting 2.
- Wait 10-15 minutes and monitor O2% in top center of screen.
- Verify that O2 percent reaches 90+%.
